FC Bitburg Design

Having seen the Bitburg poster I designed, the manager of the local football club approached me to design a new kit for the team. He had seen other clubs with illustrations and wanted me to create a design that would reflect Bitburg.
Since I designed the poster, I already had a few ideas of what to include for the kit design. The manager wanted the focus to be on the people and community, the players and fans. So I attended a game to sketch some poses of the players and appreciate the atmosphere of the match. Playing on a gothic font reflected the history of the town and the logo of the local beer, the skyline of the town was featured and I included a nod to the logo of the football club.
